Fresh Pics Exhibition

Though my work is made in New York,
and it is sculptural, so not technically a fresh "pic",
if you happen to be in Ridgefield, Connecticut over the next month,
you can visit my sculpture, Scribe's Chair,

as one of the artists included in this exhibition:

  1. Congratulations! How I wish I could see the show, but I am too far away. Beautiful piece.

  2. Now that is something I would really love to do ..... See your Scribe's Chair face to face. I've just enlarged the photo and studied it close up. It really is the most exquisite sculpture!

  3. I love your sculpture. The title suits it perfectly, although my textile eyes also see lots of fabrics, spindles and spools...

Such a shame you will miss your opening night. Hope you start feeling better soon xx

  5. Thanks for the congrats Sybil, Robyn, Jasmine and Cat, I'm pretty sure the opening will be well attended, with something like 50 artists - I'm just a drop in the bucket! to be honest, I'm not crazy about openings anyway, but I will miss seeing everyone else's work. I understand that an exhibition catalog has been created though, so I'll get a glimpse at the work that way. It's just too far for comfort, plus chemo and flu season crowds are not a good mix! Better safe than sorry.
    Anyway, many thanks! xox Karin

  7. How I love this beautiful scribe's chair.. How I wish I could see it in real life. I am way down here in the south of no where. You have a blessed talent of detail my friend.

  8. this is awesome Karin...the chair, of course and also the fact that it is part of an exhibit! Sorry you won't be there for the opening...but your spirit certainly will be as it is infused in your sculpture.
