Ask yourself what makes you come alive and go do that, because what the world needs is people who come alive.
Howard Thurman

Hello Karin: I just had to post a comment on your today's art work - it is simply wonderful !!! I love all of your art, I pop-in everyday and truly enjoy all of them. the tree you posted on the 12th is special to me cause I LOVE to draw trees, not that I draw well at all, but I seem to always draw them as a dooodle but the reason it's special is cause you drew such a beautiful one on my birthday, the 12th - soooo I thank you : ) also, thank you soo much for sharing your art and beautiful self.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Sandra in AZ
Hey Sandra! Happy birthday!! Great hearing from you and knowing you're visiting :) many thanks, Karin
ReplyDeleteWell, this is so powerful! I love it and it reminds me of the old story of midas with the golden touch! we are such powerful beings and I think we sometimes forget our own power or give it away. I just LOVE this! xo
ReplyDeleteOh Karin, now I see the great meaning and symbolism of your header with those precious hands of yours! Oh imagine! I know you have told me about your plight before, I am such an awful email responder, I owe you an email. But about our hands, my predicament is not as grave as yours, oh that sounds so painful about the proposed surgery. We need to take better care of our hands. In the Philippines there is a group of quadreplegics who paint with the brush clenched between their teeth. Oh my. if you must create, you will create no matter what! have a great day and take good care.
ReplyDeleteI very much like your artwork!
ReplyDeleteHello Karin!
ReplyDeleteI just got done watching your informative vidios on bookbinding. Loved it. Now i want to try to make a book just like yours. I also spent some time on your wonderfully inspired blog. you do some awsome work in your journal. I wish i could be so committed to doing a journal. I just have so many things going on. Too many spoons in the pot. I am all over the place with my art. i love to do so much and everything. Keep up the good work. I will visit your blog again!
Oh this is beautiful Karin. The rich red spiral sings.

Thanks Cat, yes, there is so much power within each of us - I have to remind myself of that, or much can go untapped.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Ces. I know there will always be some way for my creative expressions to flow! as will yours, knowing your determination and talents. Hopefully it will continue to be solely through our healing hands!!
Hi Nagolore, thank you very much!
