    The shading of color you incorporate here reminds me of how I learned to blend pastels in art class. You add your own flare and experience. The overall feeling evoked in me is complete serenity. Thank you for sharing your inspired artistic gifts with the world.

    Actually Lira, the colors are pastels in the back ground around the bird - I forgot to add that label! Katie Jane, the bird is made by painting with acrylic paints, thickly and dragging a fine dry brush through the paint to create the feathers
