  7. Today, like every other day, we wake up empty
and frightened. Don't open the door to the study
and begin reading. Take down a musical instrument.

Let the beauty we love be what we do.
There are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground.
    Rumi...

Love this piece. There is a surrender in it that inspires me so.
Big love to you, beautiful one !

  16. This beautiful piece of work brings to mind the Buddhist practice of prostrations... something I'm intimately familiar with.

There's something about the act of bowing, and humbling oneself to the world or whatever, that is quite profound when approached with love and gratitude.

    Just gorgeous, Karin!

  17. Oh Karin this is breathtaking. It feels tranquil, sacred, hushed ....
    like entering a temple.

  18. Thank you everyone,
You've all hit on the essence of what I feel and tried to express - reverence, humility, surrender, acceptance, release through yogic prostration...

I bow again and again, to life on this earth, to that which I have no power over, to the suffering of so many, knowing it all is as it is just to be present to the All.
    with love, Karin
