Powerful pages. One of my favorites!
I like it.
oh my god! this face! and the colors! i love this, karin... xo
Art to inspire - the colours are music, the image so powerful.(Karin, I've been trying to contact you regarding the Swazi prints - is the email address here on your blog the right one, I wonder?)
I love this piece..how the being is wrapped around the heart...so very beautiful, lovely Karin.(It brought to mind this song by Sarah McLachlan - "Hold On" - do you know it ?)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bEoaY7YlMxU
the colors infuse the image with such power - don't know how you manage every day... the well must be bottomless!
Karin this picture hit me, why I don't really know, all I know is it did.I love the colours they are fantastic.xoxoxo
This strikes me as a shaman who has appeared from another dimension. Kudos to your vivid and creative mind!
I follow your blog constantly -- such amazing art/work! But, I thought it was time to pop in on you again and say thank you for sharing such awesome work and for sharing yourself, too!
Tribal, spritual, powerful.
Thank you everyone - these pages felt really good to work on. I was in the mood to simply paint, so I did it while trying to forget I was working in a book. Usually I sit and work, and for this I stood and allowing me to move freely and more loosely as I painted. Thanks for the song Kim - it was a new one to me, and I liked it a lot!I really appreciate your words, Liz.best to you all!Karin
Thanks for visiting and leaving your thoughts!
Ask yourself what makes you come alive and go do that, because what the world needs is people who come alive.
Find a place inside where there's joy, and the joy will burn out the pain.
