Ask yourself what makes you come alive and go do that, because what the world needs is people who come alive.

Those hands are fabulous and how you get such an intense, glowing red is a mystery to me. but then, your art draws me in with its mystery. I wish you would publish this book.
ReplyDeleteThanks OC,
ReplyDeleteThe hands are done with a trick technique more than artistic talent. I had my husband photograph my hands which I printed out and photocopied. Then I did a copy transfer onto the pages. I describe this process in my comments for Oct 4-5, if you're unfamiliar.
As far as publishing goes - it's definitely something I'd like to do. There are even so many easy ways to self publish these days! We'll see where it goes, and I'll keep you posted!

Beautiful and brilliant, Karin! I'm visiting your blog every day to savour the newest treasure ... Thank you so much :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful. Your journal is truly inspiring.
ReplyDeletekarin,
ReplyDeleteThe surrender is spectacular--the hands especially!
Hands are always floating around my blog--in some form or another1
thank you

This is just wonderful! I love how you used your own hands in pages. It's a neat trick.
ReplyDeleteThe whole payout draws you in. Especially the hands letting go of the heart portion.
thanks all,
ReplyDeletethere seems to be the opportunity to surrender to SO much in our world these days, and I just felt the best way to do that would be to symbolically turn my heart, my self, over to the world and let it take flight. And so I let go to allow it all to unfold, in what ever way the universe sees as best... deeeep breath.
